Biography
I recently read something stating that whatever you are creating is a reflection of who you are in the era of that creation. This caused me to realize that throughout my life, the moments I feel the least sure of who I am, are the ones that I am trying to prove myself most.
In reality, I know exactly who I am, I am okay with constantly changing, and I now know that I owe no one an explanation for what is true to me and my creativity. And that is a gift.
I am a human who feels inspiration to my core. I am a woman. I have decided to surrender to my never ending evolution. I want to learn everyday. I want to create things everyday. I want to dance and feel music in my soul and in my hair.
I encircle myself with beauty because I believe that my surroundings are a constant manifestation of myself and who I am becoming (energetic alignment which we will touch on one day). I love to take images. I love style. I love the way humans can express not just who they are, but how they feel, constantly communicating what inspires them through the way in which they choose to decorate themself.
My two favorite things in life are laughing and the feeling of energy that swims through my body when I feel inspired to create or to adapt.
The best part about inspiration is that it is always changing. I urge everyone to read Rick Rubins The Creative Act. Creativity and inspiration arises when it is supposed to and that, in itself, is so insanely inspiring.
Inspiration comes when you least expect it. So does style. So does that new song you discovered. So does that perfect vintage find. So does the ending to a book you didn't even want to read.
I do believe in Divine timing. But I truly believe we are the makers of our own reality - yes our future I suppose - but what I'm really talking about is the now. I believe the most important thing that the world is missing out on is being present. The second we stop waiting for that next thing or big idea... it'll be right in front of us.
Let me know if that makes sense.
